Hello…

Erin Buhr

I’m Erin. I live in San Diego CA with my husband and boy-girl twins.

We love adventures.

Before I had kids I was a teacher and child care administrator and I was pretty sure I knew everything I needed to about best practices for teaching kids.

Then in 2011, my twins were born and I found myself in a small town, in the middle of Winter, with two busy little people.

We needed to get out of the house.

Our adventures are what inspired this blog and continue to inspire me. We learn through little walks, big adventures, and lots of conversations and experiences.

In 2018, I also published a book called Little Walks Big Adventures which offers inspiration for 52 toddler and preschool friendly adventures – one for every week of the year.

We started exploring and never stopped.

Our family, like all families has their struggles – like food allergies and cystic fibrosis – but I passionately believe you cannot let anything stand in the way of the life you want to live. Here I hope to inspire you and your family to explore more, travel more, and live more.

Thanks so much for being here!
